Janella Salvador has stirred buzz on social media after expressing her support for Pura Luka Vega, a drag artist who was recently arrested this week.

It is worth noting that Pura Luka Vega was arrested after their alleged absence from the preliminary investigations of their case in Manila.

Following this news, Janella took to her Instagram page to repost an info card from user, @celestekuh_, regarding the topic drag.

"Drag is not a crime! Pura Luka Vega was arrested this afternoon (October 4, 2023) after failing to attend the preliminary investigations of the criminal case filed against them in Manila. There was no subpoena received by PLV or their team for the preliminary investigations in Manila," the info card stated.

It is worth noting that Janella has been vocal about her love for drag and the people behind the said craft.

Janella Salvador is a Filipina actress. She is the daughter of Jenine Desiderio and Rage band frontman, Juan Miguel Salvador. She rose to fame for her portrayal of Nikki Grace “Nik-Nik” Lim in "Be Careful With My Heart." She played the role of Valentina in ABS-CBN's "Mars Ravelo's Darna" series. She has a son named, Jude, with Markus Paterson.

As previously reported by KAMI, Janella Salvador took to Instagram Stories and shared a message she received from a rider. When the rider arrived at her home, no one was there. This prompted the rider to send Janella a message. He told her he was already at her home, and the order was already paid, and that he would throw it at her door.

Meanwhile, Janella finally explained the viral "higop" scene that happened between her and Joshua Garcia. It can be recalled that the said scene trended due to what netizens termed as "higupan." The actress, during the final press conference of Darna, stated that there was no awkwardness between her and Josh. She also stated that they were comfortable with each other and had discussed the scene prior to the execution.
