Mikee Quintos, Paul Salas, kinasuhan ng estafa isang crypto group: "More or less P8M nakuha samin"

- There were seven other victims who filed the case with the two celebs

- As per Mikee, the modus was to lure victims into believing that the transactions were initially legit and later would run away with loads of money

Kapuso stars Mikee Quintos and Paul Salas, together with seven others, filed syndicated estafa against a certain crypto group.

The celebs alleged that the amount that was scammed from them by the group was around P8 million.

In Jonathan Andal's report on "24 Oras," they filed the case at the Makati City Prosecutor's Office.

They filed the complaint against four individuals for allegedly violating PD No. 1699 or Syndicated Estafa, in relation to Articles 315 and 316 of the Revised Penal Code.

As per Mikee, the modus of the crypto group was to lure victims into initially believing that the transactions were legit, and later when the supposed investment is already a huge amount, they would just run away with it.

“I think that’s their modus din na aalagaan ka muna nila, papaniwalain ka nila na okay yung transactions with them, until when you give a sufficient amount na or big amount na, more or less PHP8 million yung nakuha nila sa amin, e, itinakbo na nila.”

Mikee Quintos is an actress and singer in the Philippines. Mikee is best known for her work as a Kapuso star, especially her role as Lira in Encantadia. Both of her parents are politicians and she is also dating Kapuso actor Paul Salas.

Last year, Mikee spoke honestly about how she and her boyfriend, Paul Salas, resolved their issues. When they have arguments, Mikee and Paul make an effort to listen to each other’s concerns. As a result, they are able to prevent getting too emotional during conflicts. Furthermore, Mikee believes that running away from conflicts is not healthy for a relationship.

When she was asked by KAMI if she and Paul Salas had already talked about getting married in the future. The Kapuso star shared that she and Paul have not yet talked about getting married. She explained that they are just enjoying their time together and focusing on their respective careers. However, the actress said that if there is anyone she would like to invest her time and effort in, it would be Paul.
