Jennica Garcia, in a post on her Instagram account, thanked the persons she called her “Fairy Godmothers” for the beautiful gown she wore at the ABS-CBN Ball.

She said that her “Fairy Godmothers” Rodel and Maison put in a lot of work so the actress can look presentable in such a prestigious event.

“‘Se Hwa’, it means bright, shining child - Legend of The Blue Sea,” Jennica began in her post.

“To my dearest Fairy Godmother’s at my ABS-CBN Ball Debut, Maison and Rodel. Thank you for the hard work that you’ve put in so I can look presentable in a very prestigious and much awaited event,” she added.

The actress then recalled telling Rodel the gown she has in mind but the latter dissuaded her saying that she should be a “pasabog” at the ball.

“My heart is so full. I remember telling Rodel the gown peg that I have in mind. He said, “Anak alam kong simple ka, pero ilang beses ko ng ginawa itong ball. Magtiwala ka sakin. Hindi ako papayag. Dapat pasabog ka,” Jennica revealed.

“There is sincerity, love and genuine care with how he said it and in this industry that I’ve been working in since I was 17 years of age… A person like you is so difficult to come across,” she said.

Jennica then indicated that she was right in trusting Rodel because she came out shining in her “pasabog” gown.

“Know that I have very little trust in myself. In the end, I agreed to you anyway. Not because I have a feeling that I can pull it off… But because I trusted in YOU. Thank you so much for everything mhie,” the actress said.

She also expressed her gratitude to Maison because despite the short notice, he was able to make Jennica’s gown from scratch in a little time.

“Maison, it was short notice. You only had 2 days to make my gown from scratch but you made a masterpiece out of the fabrics that you used. The talent bestowed upon you by the Lord is a gift and I am so grateful to have experienced it for myself,” she wrote.

“I felt like a mermaid, Maison. Thank you for agreeing to make something so beautiful for me. I hope you feel my love for you. Maraming salamat po ulit,” Jennica said.
