Arnold Clavio has recently taken to social media to pen a birthday message to the late broadcast journalist Mike Enriquez.
Mike, who passed away last August 29, would have been 72 years old by today, September 29.
On his Instagram page, Igan uploaded a reel containing a slideshow of his heartwarming photos with Mike.
In the caption, Igan expressed that he misses the late veteran news anchor.

“Miss kita Ama… Ngayong puwede nang isigaw sa buong mundo na birthday mo!!!” he penned.
The “Saksi” news anchor also thanked Mike for his “continuous guidance.”
“Musta ka ba sa itaas? Salamat sa patuloy na paggabay Ama.”
Furthermore, Igan wrote, “Kita na kayo ng Daddy ko?”

Mike Enriquez, or Miguel Castro Enriquez in real life, was a multi-awarded Pinoy television and radio newscaster. He was the president of GMA Network’s regional and radio subsidiary, RGMA Network Inc., and was also the Station Manager of Super Radyo DZBB 594 AM. Mike was also a regular anchor on 24 Oras with Mel Tiangco and Vicky Morales. Mike passed away on August 29, 2023. He was 71 years old.
Previously, Arnold Clavio reposted on social media a video showing him and Mike Enriquez having a lighthearted moment. In the video, the two prominent broadcasters were seen happily dancing. In the caption, Igan penned a heartfelt farewell message to the veteran broadcast journalist. The ‘Saksi’ news anchor also underscored that Mike will always be remembered by many Filipinos.
Mel Tiangco could not help but get emotional while reporting Mike’s passing. In the said report, Mel’s voice quavered while presenting GMA Network’s statement on Mike’s demise. Furthermore, Vicky Morales and Emil Sumangil were also seen emotional during the closing spiel on August 29's episode of “24 Oras.”
