MTRCB, dineny ang Motion for Reconsideration na inihain ng "It's Showtime"

- The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has denied the Motion for Reconsideration (MR) concerning the 12-day suspension of "It's Showtime"

- In a resolution dated Sept. 28, 2023, MTRCB denied the MR filed by GMA and ABS-CBN

- The Board ruled on Aug. 17, 2023 to suspend the noontime show for 12 days

- On the Sept. 28 episode of "It's Showtime," the executives of GMA were seen on the show

The MTRCB has just issued a resolution denying the MR filed by GMA and ABS-CBN concerning the 12-day suspension the MTRCB meted out on "It's Showtime."

MJ Felipe posted a copy of the resolution on Twitter.

"The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) released a resolution dated 28 September 2023, denying hte Motions for Reconsideration (MR) filed by GMA Network, Inc. and ABS-CBN Corporation. "

In the same resolution, it also reiterated the background on the said MR, narrating that a number of the show's hosts "allegedly acted indecently or inappropriately in the presence of children."

Hence, as per the resolution, the decision of the Board dated Aug. 17, 2023 was affirmed.

"It's Showtime" is a Filipino noontime show comprised of well-known celebrities in the Philippines, namely, Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang, Karylle and a lot more. The said noontime show is currently airing on GMA Network.
