Kakai Bautista, wapakels sa “gusto ng society” para sa kanya: “Ako ang masusunod… Plan ko mag-enjoy”

Kakai Bautista, in a recent post on her Instagram account, indicated that she doesn’t care about what society wants for her because what’s important is what she wants for herself.

“Hindi ko susundin kung anong gusto ng soceity para sa akin. Ako ang masusunod!” Kakai wrote in her post.

Early on, in her post, she lamented about how others would put forward their suggestions every time she goes on a trip abroad.

“Everytime I do my Euro trip, lagi sinasabe sa akin ng ibang tao (lalo na yung di ko naman ka-kilala at ka-close) ‘hanap ka dun ng jowa, asawa!’ ‘Makabingwit ka sana ng lalaki dun!’” the actress comedian wrote.

She then indicated that she abhors such suggestions, adding that it’s her life with her own set of rules.

“Real talk? Sorry pero kadirs. Juskow. My LIFE, My RULES. My ROMANCE, MY TIME!” Kakai said.

The actress-comedienne then said that her trips allow her to learn and experience every bit about the culture of the places she visits.

“To learn and to savour every bit of their beautiful culture. To just be amazed and be purely awed by diversities and intricacies! That’s the purpose of my TRAVELS,” she said.

Kakai then said that she intends to enjoy the fruits of her labor which she didn’t ask from anyone.

“Masusunod ang plan ko na MAG-ENJOY lang at KUMALMA. I-ENJOY ang pinaghirapan kong kitain, HINDI KO HININGI kahit kanino. I-ENJOY lang ang AKO ❤️,” the actress-comedienne said.

She then jokingly said that people abroad enjoy her beauty, then clarified that she was just joking.

“Oo ang daming lalake dun na nakaka-appreciate sa pagkatao ko.Nag Enjoy ako! Pero mas nag-enjoy SILA sa GANDA ko. CHAREEEEENG!!” Kakai said.

Catherine "Kakai" Bautista is a Filipina actress who is also a host, singer, and comedian. The actress also starred in the highest-grossing Filipino film, "Hello Love Goodbye," alongside Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards.

Last month, Kakai also stirred some online buzz on social media with her latest Instagram stories. On the photo-sharing app, the actress-singer reposted quote cards about "family" and "reputation." The first quote card that Kakai shared was about not tolerating any lies and drama even though "someone is family." The second quote card talked about saving someone's reputation by not telling one's side of the story.

Previously, she also showed she had no qualms about admitting that she is "mukhang pera" but in a good sense. She said this at the headquarters of Beautederm when she surprised the members of the Philippine Entertainment Editors with a mini-concert. According to Kakai, yes she is "mukhang pera", but who isn't, considering that there are many who simply rely on her. She also said that she is happy as she gets to prioritize the needs of her family.
