Maxene Magalona, in a post on her Instagram account, revealed she’s working on the double to get rid of her toxic energy.

In the beginning of her post, she said that her post serves as a reminder for everyone to live their lives for themselves and not for others.

“Here to remind you to live your life for yourself. Not for others,” the actress wrote.

She admitted that in the past, while she was growing up, she was “conditioned to worry and care about what other people think,” and at the same time, to seek the approval of her elders.

“We are so conditioned to worry and care about what other people think of us because we grew up seeking our elders’ approval. So as adults, we unconsciously do things to please others to gain their approval and feel validated,” she said.
“But only for a little while so we keep doing things we don’t even want to do and chasing people we don’t even like just for that feeling of validation. This is not sustainable,” Maxene said.

She then revealed that she’s in the process of unlearning such “deep conditioning” and connecting to herself on a higher level.

“What I’m doing to unlearn this deep conditioning is to connect to myself everyday on a soul level, work on eliminating my toxic energy and remind myself of my true worth, value and power. This requires consistency and discipline,” the actress said.

It can be recalled that in a previous post, Maxene also gave advice on how to deal with toxic people.

In her present post, the actress also said she has learned to focus more on herself and to stay in her own lane so as to avoid being bothered by what people think or say about her.

“I’ve learned that as long as you focus on yourself and stay in your own lane, you won’t be bothered by what other people think or say about you anymore,” she wrote.

“And as long as you keep working on yourself, life will keep working itself out. I’m here to live my life for God ” Maxene added.

Maxene Magalona is an actress and social media star in the Philippines. Her father is the late rap legend Francis Magalona. The actress revealed in May 2020 that she has been seeing a psychiatrist due to her mental illness. She used to be married to Rob Manquil but they have already broken up and have gone separate ways. However, it is not yet known as of this writing if they have new partners already.

Recently, she stirred buzz on social media with her online post. On Instagram, the actress posted photos of some gifts she received from her students. She then revealed the gifts came with a note and a mirror that said, "I am loved." According to the Kapamilya actress, this made her cry so much afterward.
