Alessandra de Rossi is a Filipino actress and also the younger sister of Assunta de Rossi. She has won a FAMAS Awards Best Supporting Actress for the movie Azucena. She is considered one of the most versatile actresses. Her sister Assunta is likewise an actress. Both of them have already won a Best Actress award at the Metro Manila Film Festival. Assunta is the wife of Cong. Jules Ledesma.

The actress, during an interview by Camille Prats, revealed the real reason on why she pursued an acting career. The actress and recording artist said that acting was her escape from studying way back when she was still attending school. Her mother, who was a Latin honor awardee when she graduated from college, had warned Alessandra against quitting school. The actress, however, said she was determined not to go back in school and to just do well in acting.
