Michelle Dee, during an interview by Bea Alonzo for the latter’s vlog, revealed she has experienced being a victim of an alleged sabotage in a past beauty pageant.

In the course of the interview, Bea asked Michelle if she had ever experienced being sabotaged during one of the competitions she’s joined.

“Yeah! Once lang during my first international competition,” Michelle answered.

The beauty queen told Bea that being her first time to compete internationally, she was very careful with the things she would be wearing.

“I was so careful with—especially my final gowns and especially my national costume. They lived in separate luggages locked until I needed to wear them,” she narrated.
“During our national costume rehearsals, I was wearing a beautiful, beautiful piece by Francis Libiran,” she added.

However, when she went back to check on her costumes, her fans were nowhere to be found.

She told Bea that she messaged the team of Francis who expressed their willingness to produce another set.

“This is why I love Pinoys all over the world; that hotel had so many Pinoys, and then I was like, ‘My fans are missing,’ they helped,” she said.

According to the beauty queen, the hotel staffed checked footages from the CCTV and eventually found the fans.

“Hindi nila sinabi kung sino basta may kumatok that same night, and then my fans were on the floor,” Michelle revealed.

The beauty queen is set to represent the Philippines at the prestigious Miss Universe pageant, which is going to be held in El Salvador in November of this year.

Michelle Marquez Dee is a beauty queen who rose to fame after winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant. She will represent the Philippines at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador later this year. Michelle’s mother is actress and former beauty queen Melanie Marquez.

In a viral video uploaded on TikTok, Michelle was seen with one of her best friends, actress Rhian Ramos, dancing to the popular song of Diana Ross' "I'm coming out." The newly-crowned beauty queen was in a dramatic mode, and looked cute and beautiful. It was only recently that Michelle came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

Previously in an interview with Mega Magazine, Michelle revealed that she identifies as swinging both ways when it comes to romantic partners. Her beauty queen mom Melanie Marquez knows about it and she even told Michelle that she also used to have girlfriends. Michelle had also been attending pride marches and advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights even before the Miss Universe PH pageant. She shared that she has a lot of friends in the LGBTQIA+ community.
