Kimmy shared the post after the Movie and Television Review Classifications Board (MTRCB) released a statement where they suspended the show for 12 airing days.

Kim Chiu is a Filipina-Chinese actress and television host. She broke through in showbiz after becoming a winner in Pinoy Big Brother. She was born on April 19, 1990, in Cebu City to Chinese businessman William Chiu and Louella Yap. Kim is also known as the “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.” She is in a relationship with actor Xian Lim.

Previously, Kim's sister Lakam Chiu turned a year older. The actress and her family threw a surprise birthday celebration for Lakam on her special day. Kimmy and Lakam then took to social media and shared glimpses of the fun celebration. On Instagram Stories, Kim also wrote sweet birthday greetings for her sister.

Kim also could not help but cry during the “Mini Ms. U” segment of “It’s Showtime” on Monday. This was after a five-year-old contestant named Rain shared her life story. Despite living at a cemetery, Rain remains grateful to her parents for their love and sacrifices. Amy Perez then lauded Rain for understanding her family’s situation, while Kim turned emotional after the little girl showed appreciation for her parents’ efforts.
