Pres. Bongbong Marcos expressed sadness over the passing of veteran broadcaster Mike Enriquez.
In his official Twitter account, the President also paid tribute to Sir Mike.
He described Mike as a pillar in the broadcasting industry.
PBBM also recognized how Sir Mike dedicated his life in the delivery of unbiased news to Filipinos.

He also condoled with Mike's family during this great time of mourning.
"We are saddened by news of the passing of veteran anchor Mike Enriquez, a pillar in our broadcasting industry. He dedicated his life to delivering unbiased news to the Filipino people. Our heartfelt thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this time."
Mike Enriquez, or Miguel Castro Enriquez in real life, was a multi-awarded Pinoy television and radio newscaster. He was the president of GMA Network’s regional and radio subsidiary, RGMA Network Inc., and was also the Station Manager of Super Radyo DZBB 594 AM. Mike was also a regular anchor on 24 Oras with Mel Tiangco and Vicky Morales. Many netizens mourned the passing of the veteran broadcaster and many condolences flooded social media when the news of his passing was made known.
Yasmien Kurdi cried when she heard the news of Mike Enriquez's passing. The Kapuso star took to Facebook and gave tribute to the veteran broadcaster.
