Kapuso newscaster and journalist Pia Arcangel paid tribute to the late broadcaster Mike Enriquez.
She did so by sharing a video of her old interview with him, following his demise.
In the video, Mike shared his words of wisdom about being grateful.
Pia captioned her post with, “'Lahat ng meron tayo, hiram lang natin ito. Pinahiram lang sa atin. And that’s enough reason na magpasalamat.'”

"Sir Mike’s attitude of gratitude was with him always. Thank you, Booma," she added.
Mike's demise definitely shocked and saddened many people, especially his fellow broadcast journalists.
No wonder Pia's post elicited comments from people who were deeply pained by his loss.

Miguel Castro Enriquez, more popularly known as Mike Enriquez, is a multi-awarded Pinoy television and radio newscaster. He was the president of GMA Network’s regional and radio subsidiary, RGMA Network Inc., and was also the Station Manager of Super Radyo DZBB 594 AM. Mike was also a regular anchor on 24 Oras with Mel Tiangco and Vicky Morales.
In a previous report by KAMI, Mike Enriquez was the trending topic on social media after news of his death was confirmed by several major news outlets. News of his death surfaced online as early as 5:30 p.m. on August 29, 2023, but it wasn’t until more than an hour later that GMA Network confirmed the reports as true. On 24 Oras, his co-anchors, Vicky Morales, Mel Tiangco, and Emil Sumangil, were very emotional as they made their closing spiels on the news program. Some netizens, meanwhile, expressed their condolences to the family of the famous broadcaster.
In another report, GMA Network confirmed the news in a statement released Tuesday. As per the media giant, the Kapuso anchor died on August 29. A “24 Oras” report also paid tribute to Enriquez, citing his contributions to the broadcasting industry.
