Sharon Cuneta admitted that she still isn't used to seeing her daughter, Frankie Pangilinan, leave the Philippines for America for her studies.

On Monday, August 28, the celebrity mom took to her Instagram page to pen a lengthy post about Frankie's departure from the Philippines.

According to Sharon, she is still not used to seeing her daughter leave, claiming that it feels like her heart is being torn into pieces.

"Hindi pa rin ako masanay-sanay... Tuwing aalis si Kakie ko pabalik ng Amerika, parang pinupunit ang puso ko. It never gets any easier… Such a loving and affectionate daughter and sister… tuwing uuwi siya tumatalon sa ligaya ang [puso] ko… tapos aalis lang uli," she said.

In the viral post, she then jokingly told her daughter to go ahead and finish her course already.

"Tapusin mo na yang course mo, Baba… Ayoko na ng ganito laging parang rollercoaster ride! I love you with all of my (right now, bleeding) heart, my baby. One year na lang… Ano ba yan tapos si Mielly naman! Waaaahhh!!! @frankiepangilinan P.S. You were right, Mommy - mahirap nga maging mommy!" Sharon wrote.

Sharon Cuneta, commonly known as the 'Megastar' in the local showbiz industry, is a prominent veteran celebrity in the Philippines. She is also the mother of KC Concepcion, her daughter with fellow actor Gabby Concepcion. In 1996, she tied the knot with Kiko Pangilinan.
