Lolit Solis, in a recent Instagram post, admitted crying over the news regarding the death of Carla Abellana’s dog.

The veteran showbiz columnist said she can relate very much to Carla as she herself has a pet dog that’s very close to her.

“Cry naman ako ng mabasa ko Salve iyon write up mo tungkol sa dog ni Carla Abellana. Talagang maisip ko lang parang ang bigat pag si Jokjok ang magkasakit o mawala,” Manay Lolit said.

“Hay naku, magiging incommunikado ako for a while dahil talagang hindi muna ako makikipag usap. Hay naku relate na relate ako kay Carla ha, she added.

Manay Lolit then surmised that the actress might have become very emotional over the death of her dog because of the pain she’s gone through as regards her breakup with ex-husband, Tom Rodriguez.

“Siguro kaya naging sobra siyang emotional sa case nila ni Tom Rodriguez dahil narin nga may pinagdadaanan siyang sakit sa dibdib,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.

She wondered, however, which was more painful for Carla, her breakup with Tom or the death of her dog.

“Ewan ko ha, kung alin mas masakit kay Carla, iyon break up nila ni Tom o iyon pagkamatay ng dog niya. Kasi nga di ba pareho niya iniyakan, ano sa palagay mo Salve at Gorgy, ano mas masakit , bongga,” Manay Lolit wrote.

Carla Abellana is an actress and endorser who works for GMA. She used to be married to fellow Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez. Before entering showbiz, she graduated with honors from De La Salle University with a degree in psychology.

In a recent socmed post, the actress revealed what for her is the hardest lesson in life that she’s learned. Her post consisted of a video of herself wearing a yellow outfit addressing the camera and imparting something important to whoever is watching. According to the “Voltes V: Legacy” actress, the hardest lesson in life is forgiving someone who was never sorry for what he or she did. She also captioned the socmed post with a light bulb emoji, which is often interpreted as representing ideas and learning.

Before that, she also took to Instagram and shared that PAWS will be filing a case against the security guard who allegedly threw a puppy off a footbridge. The incident happened at SM North EDSA footbridge. According to Carla's post, a netizen posted about having allegedly witnessed the said security guard throwing the puppy off the footbridge. Carla has been an advocate for animal rights and has been very vocal about such issues.
