Mariel Padilla, in a recent Instagram post, shared some photos of an island in the West Philippine Sea where her husband, Sen. Robin Padilla, brought her to celebrate her birthday.

In case some followers might raise questions, Mariel explained that is really how Sen. Padilla would celebrate occasions, preferring something unique instead of a regular celebration.

“On my birthday Robin brought me to Pag-asa Island at the West Philippine Seaaaaa that is how Robin likes to celebrate hehe never just a normal celebration hehehe,” Mariel wrote in her post.

She then expressed joy at the beauty of the place during their visit to Pag-Asa island and described it to her followers.

“You know the water in pag-asa island is like turquoise water sooooooo clear i have only seen that kind at the Maldives and in Tawi - Tawi!!!!!! Really nice!!!! Super!” Mariel said.

The TV host then expressed hope that the place would be developed because the water is so nice and the sand was a fine white sand.

“Sana talaga ma develop ang Pag-Asa Island because ang ganda ng water and the sand was fine white sand ,” Mariel said.
