- The comedian then said that their only fault were the first five letters of the word "kasalanan," which is KASAL

Joey De Leon did not hide his dismay over those people who were saying that Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza should not have gotten married because there was a typhoon.

He called the said "mga kababayans" as "ume-epal" because of their statements.

"Sa mga kababayan nating ume-epal na hindi raw dapat nagpakasal ang dalawang ito dahil binabagyo raw ang bayan," he said.

Joey then said that all he can say to these people is that Menggay was the first to plan, than Egay.

"Eto lang ang masasabi ko—-naunang nagplano sina Menggay kaysa kay Egay!"

He then added that the only fault of the two were the first five letters of the word "kasalanan," which is KASAL.

Recently, Joey also posted on Instagram about his noontime show on TV5, “E.A.T.” The famous host promoted some of the segments of the program including ‘Sino ang henyo’ and ‘Sugod Bahay mga Kapatid’. According to Joey, his show, although no longer called ‘Eat Bulaga,’ is still the longest-running noontime show. He added that “E.A.T.” is not the “tolongges noontime show."

His grandson, Jakob, also recently warmed the hearts of netizens. This was after Joey posted a video showing the adorable little boy. In the cute video, Jakob was singing the theme song of “E.A.T.” Netizens then took to the comments section and gushed over the reel.
