Lea Salonga’s fan, Christopher Carpila, who was one of the four who went to the dressing room of the international singer to have their photo taken and later uploaded the video of their encounter said he would never apologize for putting the video online.

This was his brave declaration during his interview with Julius Babao in the show “Julius and Tintin.

He insisted that he did nothing wrong and that he had no bad intention in uploading the video.

“Hindi ko alam kong kailangan kong gawin yun or what, pero pasensiya na, pero siguro hindi,” Christopher said when asked whether he’s willing to apologize.

“Alam ko wala akong ginawang masama. Alam ko yung pagka-post ko, hindi ko intensiyon na manira or ipakita sa buong mundo na yun siya,” he added.

Christopher also said that he did not say anything adverse in the video.

“Katulad nung sinabi ko, tao lang, tao lang na hindi nakapag-isip nung kinlick. Wala naman po akong sinabing masama,” he said.

When asked why their mobile phone cameras were already on, he explained they just want to capture the very moment when they meet up with the international singer.

Lea is also known for being the singing voice of several Disney Princess characters, Jasmine and Mulan.

In another interview on "Julius Babao Unplugged," Christopher told Julius that he had no intention of destroying Lea, and noted that he was not also feeling entitled as a fan. The fan also told Julius that he did nothing wrong and he is also not affected by the bashing.

Many came to the defense of Lea, including a fan who uploaded a video of her in an undisclosed location where she was surrounded by fans and security personnel. The video has since then gained viral status after gaining more than 222K views. In the said video, fans can be seen clamoring to get the attention of Lea as her security aides look on. There is also a barrier separating fans from the international singer, preventing the former from coming near Lea.
