Christopher Carpila, the fan who entered the dressing room of Lea Salonga, and who was also the one who uploaded the video online, granted Julius Babao an exclusive interview.

In the interview, Christopher aired his side, saying that he does not feel entitled as a fan, nor was he trying to destroy the image of the international singer; however, it was the first time that such happened to him and he felt like a "cockroach" that has been squished.

"Wala po akong intention tulad nung sinasabi ng mga tao na sinisiraan ko siya or whatever," he said.
"It's just that alam mo, 'yung naramdaman ko. First time ito...Siguro parang way ko 'yun para mailabas 'yung... ano kasi, iba talaga ang naramdaman ko noong gabi na 'yun...Para akong ipis na tinapakan o kuto na tiniris. Lahat kami natulala," he added.

With regards to whether he felt that he did something wrong or not, he underscored that he did nothing wrong, which is why he is also confident. He also noted that he's not affected with the bashing that he has been getting.

The international singer recently took to Twitter and recounted an incident concerning some Pinoy fans, other than the ones who entered her dressing room. She narrated how a number of Filipinos argued with ushers who were not of Pinoy-Asian descent. The renowned singer then told them that the usher was simply doing her job. Lea said that she felt embarrassed and sad that such a thing would have happened back then.

In a separate post, actress and celebrity entrepreneur Neri Miranda also took to Facebook to express her deep admiration for Lea Salonga as an avid fan. She likewise recounted her experience when she and her husband, Chito Miranda, watched one of her concerts. According to her, they had the chance to take a photo with the renowned singer. Likewise, Neri shared that Lea graciously took time to individually meet and take pictures with all of her fans at that time.
