He said that he was attracted to the low fare rate if the scheduled flight is still far away, though when the time came for him to pay, he was confronted with additional charges.
“Maa-attract ka sa mura pag malayo pa lang ang date, nag-book ka na. Di ko lang kinakaya yung may bayad na nga yung bagahe, pookey nangina, pati upuan, me bayad?” the showbiz reporter said.
He said that the P3,500 ticket he booked ended up having a price tag of P5K.
“So yung 3.5k mong ticket, ang ending: 5k na. Or yung 4.5k mong ticket, 6.2k na,” Ogie said.
Mama Ogs then added that the rate doesn’t include travel insurance, which means it could still go up if one opts in.
“Depende pa kung kukuha ka ng travel insurance, additional pa yon,” the talent manager and showbiz reporter said.
Near the end of his post, he lamented that the flight he booked would sometimes be delayed if not canceled, adding he’s better off with a flying car.
“Tapos, kundi delayed, canceled ang flight mo! Juice ko po, makabili na nga ng kotseng lumilipad,” Ogie said.

In another recent post on social media, mama Ogs tried to mimic the way David Licauco sang during the serenade portion of Miss Grand Philippines. Mama Ogs’ co-host in his online program “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,” then reacted to the way the showbiz reporter and talent manager sang it, indicating that it was lackluster. The two, along with their other co-host, Diosa Pockoh, were talking about the viral video of David showing him singing during the said beauty pageant. They also read the comments and reactions of netizens as regards the manner by which the “Pambansang Ginoo” performed his song number.
