Actor-director na si Ricky Rivero, pumanaw sa edad na 51

Ricky Rivero, a former That's Entertainment member, as well as an actor-director, passed away this Sunday, July 16, at the age of 51.

The sudden and unfortunate news was shared and confirmed by his partner via an online post on his official Facebook page.

In the online post, Ricky's partner expressed her heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the people who helped them, especially her husband.

"Good morning po [sa] inyong lahat. Maraming salamat po sa tumulong sa asawa ko na si Ricky. Ngayon po, wala na po si Ricky Rivero, namayapa na po. Maraming salamat sa walang sawang tulong sa asawa ko," the post read.

It is worth noting that no cause of death was not disclosed or mentioned in the said post. However, it is worth recalling that the actor suffered a stroke in May, as reported by GMA News.

Following this news, Ricky has been staying at the Philippine Heart Center ever since.

Meanwhile, Herbert Bautista, who had been friends with the actor, shared his sympathies and condolences in an online post.

"Malungkot na araw dahil sa pag-panaw ng isang kaibigan at kasamahan sa pelikula at telebisyon. Paalam, Ricky. Nakikiramay ang aming pamilya sa Salvador at Rivero Families," he wrote.

Ricky Rivero is an actor and director who rose to fame after being part of GMA-7's That's Entertainment, a Philippine television variety show hosted by German Moreno. He was also best known for his films; "Eva Fonda" and "D' Aswang Slayerz."

In May, Ricky suffered from a stroke, that led to him staying in the Philippine Heart Center. His sudden and unfortunate passing was then confirmed and shared online by his partner via a Facebook post on his official page.
