Bataan Rep. Geraldine Roman found the "Ama Namin" drag performance of former Drag Den contestant Luka Pura Vega to be offensive, saying that being offended by it was actually an understatement.

"As a Catholic, I feel offended," the solon said in a text message that she sent to ABS-CBN.

As per the report, the representative reminded everyone that the freedom of expression is not an absolute right, and also asked what the said performance can contribute to the rights of the LGBT.

She also said that one's rights ends where the rights of others begin.

"Your rights end where the rights of other begin. Umayos kayo," she said, further highlighting that such acts do not help their cause for being accepted and treated as equals.

The Bataan rep also gave a message to all Catholics, saying that she was also hurt by it but also appealed to everyone not to regard every member of the Community as the same as the one in the video.

In Philstar's report, the CBCP condemned the said performance and called it as an act of disrespect towards God.

Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri also warned of a possible case against the drag queen due to the said performance, GMA reported.
