The video showed someone being surrounded by partygoers, imitating Jesus Christ.

The party people were raising their mobile phones and singing a fast version of "Ama Namin."

In the caption of the video, it stated, "Thank you for coming to church! [praying hands emoji]"

The video garnered comments from many netizens.

There were varied statements about it, some defending it, with others heavily criticizing it.

This is also not the first time that the senator would express his opinion on viral videos that are discussed on social media.

Joseph Victor Gomez Ejercito, more popularly known as JV Ejercito, is a Filipino politician. He is the son of former president Erap Estrada. He also served as a senator of the Philippines from 2013 to 2019.

Sen. JV Ejercito took to Twitter and gave his reaction to the "new Eat Bulaga." The senator said that it seems that other talents need to have nameplates. He then aired his opinion that it would be hard to match Tito, Vic, and Joey, Allan K, Pao, Jose and Wally. The senator added that the longest-running show, Eat Bulaga, "is really TVJ."

The senator took to Twitter and stated that the new hosts of the "new Eat Bulaga" must not be bashed. The lawmaker said that as newly-hired talents, they are simply their jobs. Earlier, the senator said that it would be difficult to match the original hosts like the TVJ and their co-hosts. He also joked that the other talents are not known and must be given nameplates.
