Carla Abellana took to Instagram and shared her thoughts on the incident that took place at an SM North EDSA footbridge, where a security guard allegedly threw off a puppy from the said footbridge.

The act resulted in the death of the dog.

As per the post of Carla, PAWS, or the PAWSsion project, will be filing a case against the security guard.

"PAWS condemns in the strongest possible terms this act of cruelty. We are demanding an immediate investigation of this case and we have gotten in touch with witnesses so that we can file a case," noted Carla.

The security guard was also dismissed by SM as per the official statement of the said mall and that he will no longer be able to work at any SM mall henceforth.

Carla is an actress and endorser who works for GMA. She used to be married to fellow Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez. Before entering showbiz, she graduated with honors from De La Salle University with a degree in psychology.
