Paolo Contis, fight mode para sa "battle of noontime shows"

Paolo Contis is in fight mode as he shared a photo, which showed the data among the three competing noontime shows, in terms of people's ratings.

The data that Paolo shared was derived from Nielsen Phils, which compared the three shows, namely, "E.A.T.," "Eat Bulaga," and "It's Showtime."

Among the three, it was only "Eat Bulaga," which saw an increase in ratings at 0.7%.

On the other hand, both "E.A.T." and "It's Showtime," saw a drop in ratings.

Paolo then captioned it with "Fight Fight Fight."

He also added three praying hand emojis beneath the "Fight" caption.

The headline in the photo that Pao shared was "Battle of Noontime Shows."

Eat Bulaga is the longest-running noontime program in the world. Its hosts, including Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, Joey De Leon, Maine Mendoza, and others announced last May 31 that they are separating from TAPE Inc., the company that produces the show. It is not yet clear as of this writing if the hosts will take the Eat Bulaga title with them to another network or if TAPE Inc. will keep the iconic name.

Paolo revealed on ’The Boobay and Tekla Show’ that he sent private messages to both Vic Sotto and Joey De Leon. The new ‘Eat Bulaga’ host sent a private message to Vic through the latter’s wife, Pauleen Luna. Likewise, Paolo sent a private message to Joey, who he described as his “kumpare.” Paolo then shared the content of his private messages.

The ABS-CBN program ‘It’s Showtime’ will be transferring from TV5 to GMA’s GTV starting July 1. ‘Eat Bulaga’ host Paolo Contis reacted to this huge news since both shows will be under the Kapuso brand. Since both ‘It’s Showtime’ and ‘Eat Bulaga’ are now under one roof with the same time slot, Paolo believes that the two shows will have a healthy competition. The comedian-host is also excited that this healthy competition will open a lot of opportunities for celebrities.
