Pauleen Luna-Sotto, in an Instagram post, has called the launch of “E.A.T.” on TV5 as a “humbling experience” for her.
She first expressed her gratitude to the Almighty for making this momentous event happen.
The celebrity mom also said that words aren’t enough to explain what she felt at that very moment when she saw the noontime show being launched on TV5.

“Thank you Lord for making this possible,” she further wrote.
Pauleen then thanked the comic trio, TVJ, for fighting for every one of them and also thanked the Dabarkads, referring to both the co-hosts and the people behind the camera, for their loyalty.
“Thank you TVJ for fighting for us! Thank you to our solid dabarkads in front and behind the camera for your loyalty,” the celebrity mom said.
The celebrity mom then thanked TV5 for providing the group a home and also thanked her whole family for praying for them.
“Thank you @tv5manila for giving us a home. To our family who prayed for us and who continues to do so, we love you,” she wrote in her post.
Pauleen finally thanked the millions of Pinoys who supported them all the way, saying that all of these things are for them.
She then expressed excitement for the next airing.
“At sa milyung milyong kababayan natin na walang kapalit ang suporta, para sa inyo ito! I cannot wait for tomorrow and for the new portions! TVJ and Legit Dabarkads forever @tvjofficial,” Pauleen said in her IG post.
Eat Bulaga is the longest-running noontime program in the world. Its hosts, including Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, Joey De Leon, Maine Mendoza, and others announced last May 31 that they are separating from TAPE Inc., the company that produces the show. It is not yet clear as of this writing if the hosts will take the Eat Bulaga title with them to another network or if TAPE Inc. will keep the iconic name.

Meanwhile, Joey De Leon recently posted another hugot on social media which later reached viral status. In his post, he pointed out the size of their studio at TV5, saying that despite its small dimensions, the support they received is higher than one particular object. Netizens showered his post with positive comments, with many expressing happiness on TVJ’s new home. It can be recalled that the new noontime show of TVJ and the Dabarkads started airing on TV5 last Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Earlier, Joey also talked about TVJ's encounter with Boboy Garovillo and Jim Paredes of the Apo Hiking Society at the 450th-anniversary celebration of Pasig in another post. Joey, Tito and Vic Sotto‘s first show was “Okay Lang”, which aired 50 years ago on Channel 13. “Okay Lang” featured the Apo Hiking Society when Danny Javier was still alive and part of that group. Joey included “Wow Lima” and “Okay Lang ang Five” in the caption, referring to TVJ’s transfer to their new home network TV5.
