Vic Sotto has inadvertently stated the words "Eat Bulaga" during a segment of the pilot episode of the TVJ show on TV5.

It all happened when Vic was giving prices to the audience.

He started asking one person if he was sad that they had gone off air.

"Juanito, ikaw ba ay nalungkot nang mawala kami sa telebisyon?" asked Vic.

The studio audience, named Juanito, immediately said, "Siyemrpe, Bossing!"

According to Juanito, he was a fan of TVJ and has even made a song when TVJ left TAPE.

Vic asked him to do the sample and he willingly did.

After which, he was given his price, and it was at this moment that Vic said, "Eat Bulaga."

"Galing sa Eat Bulaga!, PHP5,000, at mga T-shirt!" said Vic.

Wally immediately asked, "Galing sa?"

"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto. Tape Inc.'s "Eat Bulaga" recently went back live on air on GMA with its new lineup of hosts, including Paolo Contis, Buboy Villar and Betong Sumaya.
