Karen Bordador took to Twitter and relayed what their source from inside the Makati police precinct allegedly told her.

She said that the source allegedly said that Awra Briguela might be out anytime soon.

"So according to our source inside the Makati precinct, baka lumabas na anytime si Awra," said Karen.

The DJ, who previously served time, said that she hopes that Awra's papers are approved already and that her lawyer would move fast because spending a weekend in court is not really nice.

"Hope her papers get approved already and may her lawyer be moving fast. Spending a weekend in jail s*cks!"

She also hoped that Awra would be able to go home today.

"The court’s closed on the weekend. Sana makauwi na today."

Awra Briguela, or McNeal Briguela, is a young Filipino comedian and actor. His popularity started when he became part of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano when he was personally chosen for the role by the show's lead actor Coco Martin. He was also the first champion for season one of the Philippine version of Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids. In 2016, Awra's life was featured in a titular episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya.

Zeinab Harake took to Twitter and expressed her thoughts on Awra. The vlogger and social media influencer stated that she could no longer take what is happening to her friend now. "Di na kinakya ng sikmura ko" Zebby said. She also stated that the pain in her heart simply hurts so much.

The father of Awra Briguela has arrived at the Makati Police Precinct. He arrived together with lawyers who would be handling the case of the actor. A video of Awra's father arriving at the precinct has gone viral. As per ABS-CBN's report, Awra was momentarily taken out of the custodial facility so that he may be able to talk to his father.
