Awra Briguela, who is currently under the custody of Makati police, underwent electronic inquest proceedings before the city prosecutor's office.

A video shared by GMA Integrated News reporter John Consulta, where Awra was seen, then made the rounds on social media.

According to GMA News Online, the video was captured when Awra was being taken for the E-inquest.

As per Rappler, the former child star has been detained by police after figuring in a brawl at a bar in Poblacion, Makati, on Thursday morning, June 29.

CNN Philippines reported that Awra was charged with physical injuries, alarm and scandal, direct assault, and disobedience to a person in authority.

Awra Briguela, or McNeal Briguela, is a young Filipino comedian and actor. His popularity started when he became part of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano when he was personally chosen for the role by the show's lead actor Coco Martin. He was also the first champion for season one of the Philippine version of Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids. In 2016, Awra's life was featured in a titular episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya.

According to Xian, Awra may be a hero in the eyes of many, but the law of the land has a different perspective. Earlier, Valentine Rosales shared a video of him apologizing to Awra. He said sorry to Awra for his “insensitive comment” on the comedian’s situation, which Valentine later decided to delete. The internet personality also hopes that Awra will find the best lawyers to help the comedian.
