According to Ruffa, she purposely did not plan "anything bongga" for her birthday this year since she only wants to be with her family.

"I purposely didn’t plan anything bongga for my birthday this year because I simply want to be with family and those who truly love me," she revealed.

The actress also poked fun at her day and said, "Grocery shopping on my birthday. It’s definitely a new era!"

Halfway through her post, Ruffa said she feels blessed knowing that she is in a good place and that the blessings are overflowing.

"I feel blessed knowing that I’m in a good place and blessings overflow. Simple, happy, at peace and meaningful. That’s the peg. Let’s see what the future holds. I am positive that I will be just fine. HBD to me!" she wrote.

Sharmaine Ruffa Rama Gutierrez is a beauty queen, actress, and model from the Philippines. She is the daughter of celebrities Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama. She was the second runner-up in Miss World 1993 pageant. She has two children, Lorin Gabriella, and Venezia Loran, with her former husband, Yilmaz Bektas.
