Herlene Budol was all fired up when she did the Question and Answer segment of Miss Grand Philippines.

She was asked by one of the judges to mention other things that could help her win the crown aside from her huge following on social media.

Initially, she answered: “Thank you for that looong question for me...Charoz...I have a big followers because I have a big heart! O, English yun, ha? Ano nga ulit yung tanong?”

The judge asked the question again, but this time around, she translated it to Tagalog.

This time around, Herlene made a long answer as well.

"I think this is the right time. Last year siguro po hindi ko oras. Ang sabi nga ng adbokasiya ng Miss Grand is, ano ba yun? World peace and...stop the war and peace...and since I was young (giggles) -- ang sarap mag English -- naranasan ko pong ma-bully sa eskwelahan, mabugbog sa tahanan, at dumayo sa ibang bansa bilang... ay! Dumayo sa ibang bansa, natutukan ng tatlong baril na talagang armalite at naging isang dayuhan. Para sa akin ang solid ng experience na yun. Ayaw ko ma experience ng iba yon!"

Herlene Nicole Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

Herlene has addressed the rumor that she has been offered to co-host TAPE Inc.’s ‘Eat Bulaga’ on GMA. According to Herlene, she declined the offer from TAPE Inc. due to scheduling conflicts. Nonetheless, she is open to hosting the show if her schedule opens up in the future. She also admitted to crying after hearing that Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey De Leon, and the rest of the original Dabarkads left ‘Eat Bulaga.‘

Herlene, popularly known as "Hipon Girl," revealed her participation in Miss Grand Philippines. She shared a photo on social media, showcasing her preparation for the last day of screening. Moreover, the beauty queen showed her eagerness to win the crown and promised a new transformation that will inspire others. Hipon Girl also acknowledged the support of her manager, Wilbert Tolentino, the GMA Network, and her fans.
