Vice Ganda pens letter to 'It's Showtime' family amid news of moving to GMA's GTV

Vice Ganda, 47, finally released an official statement regarding It's Showtime airing on GMA-7's GTV, or Good Television.

On Tuesday, June 20, KAMI learned that the 'Unkabogable Star' took to Instagram and posted a photo with his message in it.

In his official statement, Vice acknowledged that most of their fans and followers were probably shocked by the news.

Despite the sudden news, Vice went on to reassure their fans and supporters that the show will continue giving joy to their viewers.

"Kaya tuloy lang. Patuloy tayong magpasaya at magbigay ng pag-asa. Maniwala ka, "Ituloy lang ang sikap, sa dulo'y kikislap!" Sa oras ng iyong panghihina at pagkalito ay sasamahan kita. Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. He and Ion got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Oct. 19, 2021.

As previously reported by KAMI, Vice Ganda took to Twitter and wrote about taking a rest for the preservation of his beauty. This came after his truly successful concert, which was a sold-out one. In his tweet, he said rest is needed "for the continuity of my beauty." Many netizens supported Vice's plan since he deserved to rest.

Meanwhile, Vice Ganda, in one of the episodes of "It's Showtime," hit back at those who rode on the Karylle issue. He revealed that someone, without naming who, contacted him and apologized to him. However, Vice did not buy it and said that they must stop pretending, "Hoy, wag nga tayong magplastikan."
