Lolit Solis, di bet ang mag-gatecrash sa wedding nila Arjo Atayde at Maine Mendoza: “Private ang wedding”

Lolit Solis, in a recent post on Instagram, declared that she doesn’t see herself gatecrashing the rumored wedding of Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza.

She said the couple were both very private individuals and they also don’t want any fanfare, which is probably why, according to Lolit, they opted to have a private wedding.

“Ayaw ko isipin Salve na mag gatecrash sa balitang wedding nila Arjo Atayde at Maine Mendoza. Pareho kasing very private at ayaw ng fanfare kaya pinili nilang gawin private ang wedding,” Manay Lolit said.

The veteran showbiz columnist noted that as it is the first wedding in the family of Sylvia Sanchez, it would definitely be beautiful, adding that the veteran actress is expected to become emotional.

“Ang ganda siguro ng magiging ceremony lalo pa at first wedding ito sa pamilya ni Sylvia Sanchez. Siguro magiging emotional ang mother of the groom dahil nga ikakasal ang panganay niya,” the columnist said.

She also pointed out Arjo’s successes before entering married life, noting that Maine is very lucky indeed to have found such a man for a husband.

“Ang gandang ngayon ito nangyari na isa ng Congressman si Arjo Atayde. Imagine mo ang achievement na nagawa niya bago pa siya pumasok sa married life,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.

Manay Lolit also said those who have been invited to the “wedding of the year” are definitely lucky to witness the rumored wedding.

“Napaka suwerte ng mga invited para masaksihan ang wedding of the year, at masasabi natin isang magandang example sa lahat na anuman ang sabihin basta nagmamahalan, sure na sa altar ang tuloy,” Manay Lolit said.

Maine Mendoza is a Pinay actress, model, and TV personality. Maine rose to prominence after her Dubsmash videos went viral, which helped her land a role as Yaya Dub in the country’s longest-running noontime show, "Eat Bulaga." Maine also rose to fame due to her popular love team called AlDub with hunk actor Alden Richards, a co-host on Eat Bulaga. She is engaged to actor-politician Arjo Atayde.

Cristy Fermin, another showbiz columnist, denied rumors that the supposed wedding of Maine and Arjo would be the first to be featured on TVJ's program on TV5. In an episode of "Cristy Ferminute," she said Joey De Leon, other than to confirm TVJ were among the Ninongs, did not make a statement about the wedding being shown on TV5.
