Pokwang has disassociated herself from several social media accounts that appear to bear the combination of her name and that of her estranged partner, Lee O’Brian.

It can be recalled that the TV host and comedian established a number of accounts on several social media channels to promote her food products.

In an announcement on her official and personal Instagram account, Pokwang declared she is no longer associated with such.

“This is to officially inform everyone that Pokwang is no longer associated with the following social media accounts,” the announcement on the page of the TV host and comedian read.

It then identified and listed the said social media accounts as PokLee Cooking Official YouTube, PokLee Cooking Facebook and Instagram, and PokLee Food Products Instagram.

The announcement also revealed that Pokwang tried to negotiate with the other party involved to get the management of the said socmed accounts but the negotiations fell through.

“We have tried to negotiate with the other party involved to get the management of the said social media accounts that contain Pokwang's image; however, they refused to come to an agreement with us,” the announcement further read.

“As a result, Pokwang is pulling out any means of participation in these accounts, including the use of her image for promotions and whatever purpose it may serve,” it added.

The official announcement did not identify the name of the “other party” it referred to, but it did, however, promoted the new site created for Pokwang, which also bore the name of Malia.

“You may follow and subscribe to her now-official YouTube account, Mamang and Malia,” the announcement read.

Pokwang is a Filipino comedian, actress, television host and singer. She was born on August 27, 1970 and started her showbiz career through a reality show on ABS-CBN and subsequently appeared in dramas and sitcoms on the network. She also received the Best Comedy Actress award from the Philippine Movie Press Club for her portrayal in the sitcom Aalog-Alog and the Best Female Comedian award from the People's Choice Awards. She moved to GMA in 2021. She has two daughters, Mae and Malia. Her split with Lee O'Brian has caused a buzz on social media.

Recently, Pokwang also took to social media to publish a post about Father's Day. In an Instagram story, Pokwang greeted all exemplary fathers on said special day. The comedienne also remarked "nganga" to fathers who are not doing their roles. Likewise, Pokwang greeted all mothers who are also their families' father figures.

In a previous report by KAMI, Pokwang opened up about her ongoing conflict with her former partner Lee O’Brian. The actress replied that it is difficult to forgive Lee because the latter lacks humility. She also claimed that Lee already wasted the many opportunities he had to show his love for Malia. Furthermore, Pokwang said that Lee had no more reason to stay with her and Malia.
