Rabiya Mateo was interviewed by PikaPika during an event and she shared her thoughts on the recent reveal of Michelle about her sexuality.

As per Rabiya, Michelle's "pag-out" is really very inspiring, saying that perhaps, the beauty queen simply looked for that perfect moment.

"Nasa industry tayo na people are kinda scared because of the judgment, pero I know Michelle Dee, she's very tough and siguro she just looked for the perfect moment for her. And it is very inspiring," said Rabiya.

She also mentioned some of the things that give Michelle a good chance at bagging the Miss Universe crown.

"Aside from Beatriz Gomez...siya kasi yung unang nag-out sa self niya as bisexual representative as Miss Universe. Now we have Michelle Dee. So inclusivity wise, her backstory. Malakas yung laban ni Michelle Dee, I'm telling you guys. Kilala ko siya kung paano siya nag-sacrifice para sa competition na yon. I know hindi niya lang to palalampasin. This chance," she said.

Rabiya Occeña Mateo is a Filipina-Indian model and is the reigning Miss Universe Philippines. The beauty queen represented the Philippines in the 69th Miss Universe pageant held on May 16, 2021, in Florida, USA. She concluded her journey in the prestigious pageant in the top 21.

She delighted her TikTok followers with a new video that she uploaded. In the said clip, she is with her fellow Kapuso star and her boyfriend, Jeric Gonzales. The lovely couple is seen dancing to the song 'Girls Like Me Don't Cry.' As of this writing, Jeric and Rabiya's video has already garnered more than 200,000 views on the said video-sharing app.

The beauty queen also made the netizens "kilig" with a new video that she posted on TikTok. In the said clip, she talked about how much she appreciated the sweet gesture of her boyfriend, Jeric Gonzales. She claimed to have had a late-night craving for fruits, and Jeric willingly offered to purchase them for her. The beauty queen appreciated that even though the actor was tired after work, he still made sure to accompany her in buying the fruits.
