Jackie Lou Blanco, tila nanghinayang sa relasyon nila Ricky Davao na nauwi sa hiwalayan

Jackie Lou Blanco, in a recent interview with Boy Abunda in the latter’s show, “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” admitted having some regrets over what happened to her marriage with Ricky Davao.

The couple exchanged marriage vows in 1989 and for a time, was considered as one of the showbiz couples with strong relationships.

Unfortunately, their marriage ended with their separation in 2011, or some 22 years after living together as husband and wife.

In her interview with Tito Boy, the veteran singer and actress expressed regret at not being able to change some things in order to save their relationship.

“Siguro kung meron akong babaguhin, sana hindi kami naghiwalay ni Ricky, kung mababago ko siya,” Jackie Lou said during the interview.

The veteran actress and singer then said that many of her loved ones were affected by their separation, foremost among them were their children.

“Only because I can see how affected my children were, although they are very understanding,” she revealed.

“Pero you know that they have been affected in many ways. So sana, hindi na lang para hindi sila naapektuhan in those ways,” she added.

Jackie Lou also admits, however, that what she and Ricky can do now is continue with theri co-parenting arrangement.

“What we can do now, both of us is to, well malalaki na kasi ang mga anak ko -- to co-parent and to still, I guess do what we can with what we have now, kasi hindi mo na puwedeng baguhin 'yon eh,” Jackie Lou said.

Jackie Lou is the daughter of Pilita Corrales by her husband, the late Gonzalo Blanco. She is an actress and endorser. She has done numerous movies and also teleseryes, mostly in GMA-7.

In a previous post, Jackie Lou revealed her children with former husband, Ricky Davao, became worried when they learned there’s going to be a slapping scene in the series, ‘I Can See You: AlterNATE. The limited series of GMA Telebabad feature Jackie Lou, Ricky, Dingdong Dantes and many more. In the series, Ricky and Jackie Lou will portray roles as husband and wife, something they said is not new to them being a married couple in the past until their separation. Jackie Lou admitted, that she found it difficult at first as the last time they worked together was in 2011, though eventually, everything went well.

Also in a past interview with the actress, she admitted that getting back together with ex-hubby, Ricky, has crossed her mind. She said that if it is the will of God, it will happen. She added, however, that if it is the Almighty's will, she hopes it will happen before both of them are in their 80s.
