Just today, June 7, the Pangilinan-led MediaQuest group has announced that it has entered into an agreement with TVJ and the “Dabarkads” to provide content on TV5 and the group’s affiliate companies.

Although the statement released by MediaQuest did not specifically state as to whether TVJ and the “Dabarkads” would be carrying the “Eat Bulaga” brand on TV5, Maine, in her post used one of the show’s taglines.

“Tuloy ang isang libo’t isang tuwa ❤️ @tv5manila,” Maine wrote in her post.

It can be recalled that TVJ parted ways with TAPE, Inc., the producer of “Eat Bulaga,” of which they are the main hosts, last May 31.

The co-hosts of the show, which include Maine, along with other staff of the popular noontime show, subsequently tendered their resignation en masse to TAPE in a show of solidarity with TVJ.

"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto. "Eat Bulaga" went back live on air with its new lineup of hosts.

Tito, Vic, and Joey (TVJ) has found its new home in TV5. Philstar reported that TVJ and the Dabarkads already signed a deal with Mediaquest Group. President and CEO Jane Basas of Mediaquest expressed happiness with the transfer of the trio. On the other hand, Tito Sotto likewise shared the same enthusiasm and promised, "Tuloy pa rin ang tuwa't saya na aming dala."

Maja Salvador took to social media and reacted to Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon's new home. The iconic trio, also known as TVJ, and their co-hosts on 'Eat Bulaga' will transfer to TV5. In her heartwarming post, Maja penned a short message to "mga Kapatid." The actress likewise dubbed the said hosts as "mga legit Dabarkads."
