Moira Dela Torres created a huge buzz after releasing a statement on her social media accounts.

In the statement, the singer-songwriter addressed the accusations that she hired a ghostwriter and that she cheated on Jason Marvin Hernandez.

"I want to set things straight once and for all. Let me be clear: I have never employed a ghostwriter," part of her statement reads.

"Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to collaborate with immensely talented artists who treat each other with respect and acknowledge the contributions we all bring to the table. Every song I have created is a true reflection of my deepest emotions and experiences. I am fully prepared to provide evidence that supports this truth, including screenshots of conversations and recordings of my songs, which will undoubtedly validate and disprove the harmful accusations made against me."

Moira also highlighted that she did not cheat on her estranged husband.

"I did not cheat on Jason. It is unfair that I find myself in a position where I have to defend my name and even explain why I did not deserve to be cheated on."

Furthermore, Moira stressed that she currently focuses on her healing not just for her own well-being but also for the well-being of those dear to her.

Previously, Moira was called out by songwriter Lolito Go. Lolito accused her of not crediting him once for a song he co-wrote with her, for not being always truthful, and for not admitting her mistakes when it comes to her failed marriage with Jason Marvin Hernandez. According to Lolito, he is calling out Moira because he cares for her, saying that he wants her to realize her mistakes. He also explained that he is defending Jason because the latter had been bashed and falsely accused online for months now.

When his post went viral, there were some talks online about the possibility of Moira's attorney filing charges against Lolito. However, Lolito said he is a person who does not get intimidated by legal actions. He also sent a message to his bashers who have accused him of chasing clout.
