Buboy Villar explains split with ex-GF; talks about long-distance co-parenting

Buboy Villar was a special guest on the ‘Bawal Judgmental‘ segment of the GMA program “Eat Bulaga” yesterday, May 22.

During his guesting, Buboy was asked why he and his former American partner Angillyn Gorens broke up years ago after having two children together.

The comedian revealed that they were simply too young and lacked maturity when they were together.

Furthermore, he was not able to give the time and effort needed as Angillyn’s partner back then because he was always busy working.

“Dahil nga bata pa kami, marami din kaming pinagdaanan din talaga.

“Patience, time… kasi lalo na sa akin, parang sobrang workaholic ako, di ko talaga mabigay yung time ko as a partner.”

He also opened up about his co-parenting setup with Angillyn. It turned out that his eldest daughter Vlanz is currently in the US with Angillyn just to get a US citizenship.

According to Buboy, Vlanz will stay in the Philippines with her younger brother George after she gets her US citizenship.

“Ngayon, yung panganay ko nasa Amerika kasi inaayos yung U.S. citizenship niya para maging Amerikana siya…

“Si Vlanz, nandun siya talaga kasi inaayos lang. Pero actually, dito na talaga sila sa Pilipinas for good.

“Ginawa lang U.S. citizen ang anak ko in case lang pag merong matatakbuhan ba.

“Para sa future, mas okay, mas mawalak yung ginagalawan nila,” Buboy explained.

Buboy Villar is an actor and a father of his two kids with his former partner Angillyn Gorens. Buboy has appeared in several movies and TV projects such as Kid Kulafu, Ang Panday, Darna, and Inday Will Always Love You.

In a past report, Buboy has made tons of netizens laugh with his latest online post on Facebook. In the said app, Buboy uploaded a photo of his "BFF" Jelai Andres who was eating a noodle soup. However, netizens were thoroughly amused after reading Buboy's "sabaw" caption. The said post was also shared amid the controversial issue between Zeinab Harake and Wilbert Tolentino.

Jelai and Buboy joined a “hotdog party” for abandoned and rescued dogs in Bacolod City. Photos of the two celebrities can be seen in the social media post of Pawssion Project, a non-profit organization for rescued animals. Apparently, the two were the special guests of the organization during the occasion. Jelai is a known dog lover and an advocate for animal welfare, particularly dogs.
