The entertainment columnist first expressed her honest reaction to the bashings that the beauty queen receives.
“Ayos na sana Salve ang panalo ni Michelle Dee kundi lang nandiyan na naman mga bashers na talagang lagi na ay poor losers sa anuman laban. Basta meron tao na hindi matanggap ang magandang kapalaran ng kahit sino, nagiging questionable ang lahat.”
On the other hand, Manay Lolit commended Michelle’s confidence and wit during the pageant.

“Maganda ang ipinakita ni Michelle Dee, iyon confidence niya ang talagang nagdala sa kanya, at dahil iyon sa good education.”
“Iyon ang dapat laging nasa utak natin, sabi nga ni Boy Abunda, iyon ang tanging yaman ng bawat tao. Tutoong bukod sa ganda, kailangan din ng bawat tao ang laman ng utak para mag succeed. Hindi puwedeng ganda lang, dahil kumukupas iyon, ang talino hindi mawawala hanggang pagtanda.”
