Donnalyn is a popular and beloved singer, rapper, and actress. She also became a YouTube vlogger and has over four million subscribers already. Her vlog is known for its sense of humor, light-heartedness, and authenticity.

Recently, Donnalyn wasn't able to stop her tears from falling when TV presenter Karen Davila interviewed her about the contents of her wallet when she returned to the Philippines in the past. The influencer recalled she was only 17 years old when she decided to try building a career in the Philippines. At present, Donnalyn is one of the popular influencers with 9.62 million subscribers on her YouTube channel. She also has some business ventures, which she also shared during the interview with Karen.

There were some, however, who wouldn't believe that Donnalyn was than poor when she returned to the country. Early this year, the influencer did not mince words when she responded to a netizen who said that the vlogger was not even poor. The vlogger admitted that while she humbled herself towards others, she will be making an exception towards one particular netizen. Donna refuted the claim of the netizen that she was not even poor nor understood the struggles of real "poor" people and breadwinners. She later deleted her lengthy post where she enumerated the struggles that she and her family went through, including the hardships had to go through as an OFW.
