Lara Quigaman, in an Instagram post, admitted that being a mom can be very “messy, sticky, and exhausting.”

She also said that being a mother “is not always glamorous.”

“Being a mom is not always glamorous, most of the time it's messy, sticky – exhaustingggg,” Lara wrote in her post.

In the same post, Lara included several photos showing her reality and daily life as a mother to her kids.

“Me....but alsoooo me (swipe),” Lara wrote so her followers could see the other photos.

Far from being glamorous, the other photos shows a different Lara who seem to be very busy taking care of kids.

Lara admitted, however, that despite being messy and exhausting, she loves being a mom.

“But I love it!!!” the actress and celebrity mom said.

She then said that if she’s to choose between the glamorous her and the messy-haired mom seen in the other photos, she would opt for the latter if it means seeing her kids well “taken care of and happy.”

“I'd choose no ligo, messy hair over a glam me if it means seeing my kids taken care of and happy ” she wrote.

Lara then greeted all her “mama followers” a Happy Mother’s day.

“To all my fab mama followers - an advance happy mothers day to all of you!” Lara wrote.

Precious Lara Quigaman is an actress and a beauty queen. She won the Binibining Pilipinas International and Miss International 2005. In 2012, she married actor Marco Alcaraz.

Last year, Lara posted about things that she still can’t believe that she was able to see and experience the things that she only used to dream about. She recalled that when she and her husband were in Italy, they had to stop and express their gratitude to the Almighty. Lara said she no longer want to exhaust herself thinking of what is happening because “God is in control.” She also expressed that she is proud of herself for standing up for what she believes is right. The actress and beauty queen also said she will just keep on praying for the country and its leaders.
