In an Instagram post, the actress and beauty queen said she no longer wants to exhaust herself thinking of what is happening for God is always in control.
“I no longer want to exhaust myself thinking and trying to make sense of what is happening and why God is allowing it. When Noah asked me the same question- I answered him with an answer I also needed to hear- that God is in control, He is sovereign over ALL things, that He is good no matter what and He loves us- and ALL THINGS work for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.”
She continued, “I stood up for what I believe is right and I am proud of that. And I love what Marco told Noah as well, that losing doesn't mean we failed. You fail when you don't try and don't give it your all.”

Lara, who was one of the celebrities who supported VP Leni Robredo's presidential bid, also swore to continue praying for the Philippines and its leaders.
“And also, as a recipient of God's amazing grace myself- I am humbled and try to see everyone as God sees them and I believe that there is hope for everyone, that He can transform anyone's heart. So like before, I will continue to pray for the leaders of our nation and our beloved Philippines. Tuloy lang ang pagmamahal.”
