Jake Zyrus unleashed a “hugot” post on Instagram recently where he said that one should be wary of people who constantly keep an eye on them.
The post consisted of a 12-second video showing the feet of someone walking, accompanied by captions, and also appeared to be a repost originally made by someone else.

“Be wary of the people who constantly keep an eye on you,” the first caption on the video read.
The singer’s post then clarified that those people who constantly watch another would often offer no compliment nor support.

The post of Jake then reminded everyone that not all those who keep an eye on another are friends and some might even be amazed that one is still standing, indicating that such people already wished their downfall.
“Not all onlookers are friends & in fact many are amazed you're still standing,” Jake’s IG post concluded.
The singer did not make any clarifications, nor give a hint, on what he meant by his post.
Jake is a well-known singer and songwriter in the Philippines. He was previously known as Charice Pempengco, the girl who made international TV appearances because of her singing prowess. His gender transition became a subject of public interest.
Recently, Jake treated his followers to a beautiful song cover. On his social media pages, Jake posted a new reel showcasing his soothing vocals. He sang “Somewhere Down the Road” by Barry Manilow in the said video. The singer’s performance immediately garnered positive comments from netizens.
In a separate and previous post on Facebook of Jake's mom, Raquel Pempengco, she expressed her thoughts on the recent concert of David Foster. She said that nothing would ever compare to the one and only legendary Charice Pempengco. The mother of now Jake Zyrus said that she knows the kind of timbre of voice that David is looking for. "Kahit kanino mo pa ipakanta yang song mo...di mabibigyan ng hustisya" she said.
