KAMI learned that in an Instagram story made on Friday, April 7, the Kapamilya star mourned the passing of her "chef cousin."

In the photo, Jane could be seen showing the peace sign to the camera while her Kuya Jhong posed behind her.

On Instagram, the 24-year-old actress penned a short yet heartfelt note to her late cousin, expressing just how much she misses him.

"To our beloved chef cousin, you have no idea how much we miss you. Pagluto niyo na lang ulit ako ni Papa next time. Rest in peace, Kuya Jhong," she wrote.

Meanwhile, in one of her Instagram stories, Jane posted a photo of herself and wrote, "24 hours awake... with Kuya Jhong's family helping them sort things out."

Jane de Leon is a gorgeous Filipina actress and model. Jane used to be a member of the girl group GirlTrends, which regularly performed on "It’s Showtime." She also appeared on high-profile projects such as "Halik," "La Luna Sangre," and "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano."

As previously reported by KAMI, Jane de Leon's mother got into an accident last Friday and had to undergo surgery. The news was revealed by the 24-year-old actress via an online post on Instagram. In her online post, Jane also explained to her fans why she has been inactive lately. According to the Kapamilya actress, "It breaks my heart to see her in this situation."
