The veteran showbiz columnist also lauded Romnick for his belief in the saying that ‘happiness is your choice’.
She also gave her take on other actors who claim they lost their childhood because they worked at an early age.
“Isa sa pinakanaiinis ako pag narinig ko na nagri reklamo ang isang artista na sinasabi niya na nawala ang childhood niya dahil sa maaga siya nag trabaho,” Manay Lolit said.

“Kaya natuwa ako kay Romnick Sarmenta at Camille Pratts ng sinabi nila na naging normal ang paglaki nila, na itinuring nilang playground ang movie set, na nag enjoy sila sa trabaho nila,” she added.
“Tama si Romnick Sarmenta ng sabihin niya na ' happiness is your choice' , na ang kaligayahan mo ikaw lang gagawa at makadarama,” the veteran showbiz columnist further said.
Manay Lolit also said that a person owes it to himself to be happy, so why would he do something he doesn’t like.
“You owe it to yourself na maging maligaya, kaya bakit kailangan gawin mo isang bagay na ayaw mo. Pag malungkot ka, kasalanan mo, hindi iyon problema ng iba,” she said.
The veteran columnist then chided those who are in the showbiz industry but kept on complaining about losing their childhood.
“So stop saying na miss ko ang pagkabata ko dahil maaga ako nagtrabaho. Isipin mong wala ka diyan kundi ka magtrabaho nuon, wala ka sa kinalalagyan mo kundi sa inumpisahan mo. Kainis na para bang utang na loob mo pa na nag showbiz sila, samantalang lahat ng good things sa life nila ngayon dahil nasa showbiz sila. Wala pa yatang trabaho na kasing laki magbayad kundi ang showbiz,” Manay Lolit said.

She said though that good men like Alden would never be stricken down with negative issues because the truth would always prevail. Manay Lolit also said that Alden would go a long way and so it’s better for people who wanted to destroy him to stop what they’re doing.
She also expressed her thoughts on Nadine Lustre being trending anew amid James Reid and Issa Pressman’s dating rumors. The entertainment columnist took to social media to pen a lengthy commentary on the said matter. As per Lolit, it is funny that Nadine’s name is being dragged into the rumors. Manay Lolit also stressed that both Nadine and James deserve to be happy romantically.
