However, in her most recent interview with Boy Abunda, she sang a different tune.

According to the Liza now, she did not dream of becoming an actress and that it was just assumed that she wanted to be one when she was just a kid.

"Hindi ko pinangarap maging artista that they assume na gusto ko maging artista ever since when i was a kid. Which is not true," Liza said.

According to her, she had to be an actress in order for her to be able to put herself through school, as well as her siblings, and to support her family.

"I had to be an artista para mapaaral ko ang sarili ko, para mapaaral ko ang kapatid ko, para mabuhay ko ‘yung family ko," she said.

Liza then stated that it is one thing that many do not really know about her.

"I think that’s one thing na hindi alam ng maraming tao. I think they assume na gusto kong maging artista ever since I was a kid, it’s not true," she said.

The bottom line was that she said she needed to make money for her family.

"Kasi it came from me, a necessity, I needed to make money for my family," said Liza.
