Ogie Diaz, may mensahe kay Rendon Labador matapos ang banat nito kay Coco Martin: “Hinay lang sa pagsasalita”

- In his latest ‘Showbiz Update’ vlog, Ogie gave some pieces of advice to the social media personality

- The talent manager also remarked that Rendon’s way of calling out Coco went overboard

Ogie Diaz, during his ‘Showbiz Update’ vlog, aired his message to social media personality Rendon Labador.

This was after the latter frankly called out Coco Martin for allegedly distracting the small businesses in Quiapo due to the filming of "Batang Quiapo."

The comedian and talent manager told Rendon, “'Pag motivational speaker ka, dapat hinay lang sa pagsasalita. Huwag 'yung parang nananakot ka, na parang 'yung siga ba.”

Ogie also urged Rendon not to put all the blame on Coco and the show’s production.

“Siyempre, 'yung mga ganyan, hindi naman 'yan basta pumunta lang sa Quiapo at nag-shooting. Humingi 'yan ng permit sa barangay, humingi 'yan ng permit sa city hall. Hindi ba dapat ang kino-callout mo or 'yung dapat na sinasabihan mo, 'yung barangay doon na sumasakop sa Quiapo? Diba dapat ang sinasabihan mo ay 'yung Mayor's Office? Diba sila dapat? Kasi hindi naman sila matutuloy doon kung hindi sila pinayagan.”

Ogie continued, “Hindi naman porket may nag-post na isang tindera na, 'Kailan ka ba matatapos? Hindi kami makabenta.' Kasi diba hindi rin naman natin alam kung 'yung iba doon, nakikinabang din sa shooting at malakas ang benta nila.”

Furthermore, Ogie told Rendon how he should have voiced his sentiments.

“'Yung malasakit mo sa mga vendors, okay 'yan, tama 'yan. Pero 'yung approach natin kung paano i-callout 'yung 'Batang Quiapo' o 'yung produksyon o si Coco, parang you went overboard. Sana 'yung mahinay lang. Malay mo pakinggan ka 'pag mahinay ka.”

Ogie Diaz, or Roger Diaz Pandaan in real life, is a Pinoy actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was known as “Pekto” in the popular and long-running TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He started his career in showbiz in 1987 as entertainment reporter Cristy Fermin’s assistant at the Mariposa Publications. He later went on to become a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano.

Ogie’s recent post on his IG Stories caught the attention of his followers. In his post, Ogie said many talents recently asked him to manage their careers. He added that there were also ones who wanted him to get properties and insurance policies.

Previously, Ogie shared a photo of himself with his former talent, Bryce Eusebio. In the caption, Ogie proudly shared that Bryce is now a Sparkle Artist Center talent. The comedian and talent manager likewise told Bryce, “Wag magbago pag sumikat na, ha?” The young Kapuso actor then took to his IG story to respond to his former manager's post.
