Ogie Diaz, or Roger Diaz Pandaan in real life, is a Pinoy actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was born on January 2, 1970 in Quezon City and was known as “Pekto” in the popular and long-running TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He started his career in showbiz in 1987 as entertainment reporter Cristy Fermin’s assistant at the Mariposa Publications. He later went on to become a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano.

On Facebook, Ogie enumerated how difficult it is to be a talent manager. Aside from mapping the career of the artist and coordinating with people to get new projects and endorsements, Ogie shared that a talent manager also has to fulfill the role of being a second parent and friend to his artist. Ogie's post surfaced after Liza Soberano made a vlog about her career.

Cristy Fermin revealed that she was able to talk to Ogie about Liza. In "Cristy Ferminute" online, the veteran columnist said she informed Ogie about mentioning Liza on her show. According to Cristy, although Ogie and Liza have parted ways as a manager and talent, Ogie still loves Liza like his own kid. The veteran columnist also expressed her wishes to have a deep conversation with Ogie about Liza someday.
