The former actress then expressed her feelings that it would have been okay if the persons she referred to were strangers or only some person she knows.

However, the said individuals were friends who she loved like her own and someone who could have an honest interaction with her instead of backbiting her.

“And okay lang sakin if stranger, some person I know. But they were friends. Friends I'd spend time and resources for. Friends I told some of my secrets to, trusted, loved like my own,” the former actress said.

“And with the level of our friendship I expected a more honest interaction instead of backbiting and betraying ones, like never talking to me directly and judging without knowing everything, considering they are so far removed from the context,” she added.

In the end, Rica expressed her belief that these individuals were not friends after all but were simply “maritesses” who would comment and judge even without knowing the entire story.
