Cristy Fermin, in a recent episode of her show, Cristy Ferminute, revealed what she surmised is the real reason why Liza Soberano left the Philippines in exchange for Hollywood.

According to the veteran columnist, there are indications the actress just doesn’t want to do what Star Cinema and ABS-CBN were asking her to do as their artist.

Visibly angry, Manay Cristy alleged that the initial reason Liza gave about getting a shot at Hollywood seemed to be just a smokescreen.

Ito pala yung ano, ito pala ang tunay na dahilan kung bakit ka umalis ng Pilipinas. Hindi yung, gagawin mo pang sangkalan yang Hollywood, na butas ng karayom ang lulusutan mo bago ka makapasok,” Manay Cristy said.

She then indicated that Liza shouldn’t have used such alibis on why she left.

“Gagawin mo pang mangatuwiran ng kung anu-anong blah blah blah. Eto lang pala,” the veteran columnist said.

“Ayaw mo pala yung mga pinagagawa sa 'yo ng Star Cinema, ng ABS, ayaw mo pala yung pamamalakad ng manager mo, ayaw mo pala lahat yun,” she added.

Manay Cristy then said that it appeared Liza erased everything about her past as an actress here, calling her ungrateful.

“Binura mo na pala yun sa pagkatao mo bilang artista. Wala kang utang na loob,” Manay Cristy said.

Liza is a Fil-Am actress, singer, endorser, and model. She has starred in various TV series and movies, which include 'Forevermore,' 'Dolce Amore,' and 'Bagani,' among others. She is currently in a relationship with her on-screen partner, Enrique Gil.

In the same episode of 'Cristy Ferminute', the veteran showbiz columnist Liza as “walang utang na loob.” According to the veteran columnist, Liza was full of complaints in her recent vlog post and did not even bother to be grateful to those who helped her. She also compared the young actress to veteran stars like Vilma Santos, Nora Aunor, and Sharon Cuneta, who took care of their career and never complained that they were being controlled. Manay Cristy then slammed the actress for making a lot of excuses when in fact the only reason, as the veteran columnist surmised, is Liza doesn’t want to do the things being asked of her as an ABS-CBN artist.
